This anthology of urban writing gathers work by the writers who worked in the AmeriCorps Bronx WritersCorps project in 1995 and new work by clients served by the project--people in shelters, schools, at the Botanical Garden, in museums, and in community centers throughout the Bronx. There are more than 100 voices here. Ages range from 8 years old to a hundred and one. Art by Juan Gomez Quiroz.
